The Peaceful Pelican provides lodging in two cottages and a main house. The Garden Room, on the second floor, offers garden views, an electric fireplace, an antique armoire, and chairs; a rollaway bed is available. The Magnolia Room, the largest on the second floor, includes bay views, a magnolia tree perspective, an electric fireplace, a sitting table, chairs, and a chest of drawers; a rollaway bed is available. The Sunrise Room, features bay views from the soaking tub. The First Floor Suite has a private entrance, parking, an antique dresser, and an optional sitting room transformed into a bedroom with rollaway beds. The Third Floor Suite includes views in all four directions from window seats, a champagne massage tub, an extendable table with chairs, and a spiral staircase to the Widow's Walk. The Seabreeze Suite is wheelchair accessible, with a king-size bed, an attached bath and roll-in shower, a library, and a day bed that pulls into a double bed, with access to East Bay Park, public fishing piers, and a walking trail. The Galley Suite has a kitchen, a living and dining area, a washer and dryer, and a patio overlooking Tres Palacios Bay.
Dining Options
Chef Sharon, along with Paula and Assistant Esmeralda can prepare special meals to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or other events. A hint of what guests may expect include a fluffy omelet made with fresh organic vegetables. Utensils are kept in the dining room in wrappers, with bowls, mugs, glasses, wine glasses, and a bottle opener. The mini fridge is stocked with home-made jams and jellies made from fresh fruits and berries to pair with your toast or English muffin. Keurig coffee, fine teas, and local honey are available all day. Guests can also purchase breakfast separately for $10 per person. The buffet at Hotel Blessing includes buttery veggies, chicken and roast, mashed potatoes, rolls, cornbread, salad with all the fixings, dressings, brownies, and peach cobbler.
