Private Cabin Features
Terlingua Ranch Lodge has 32 cabin guest rooms. Each room includes two queen-size beds, a table, a dresser, heating, and air conditioning. Bathrooms offer free toiletries. Some rooms feature a balcony and seating area. Wi-Fi is available at the Bad Rabbit Cafe and Lodge office. There are no TVs or phones in the rooms.
Dining at Bad Rabbit
The Bad Rabbit Cafe provides meals. The cafe can accommodate large groups and offers buffet options. The cafe has tables with seating for up to 66 guests. Evening entertainment is offered Fridays and Saturdays. Guests can purchase drinks at the cafe.
Leisure and Activities
Guests can use the seasonal outdoor pool (March through October). There is a bathhouse with showers. Laundry facilities are available. Stargazing is a popular activity. The lodge offers opportunities for horse riding and cycling. Guests can also enjoy hiking on the walking trail between White-house and Bell Mountains.

Terlingua Ranch Lodge is located between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. The lodge is the sole provider of vehicle access to the Christmas Mountains. The lodge is located 60 miles south of Alpine on Texas Highway 118. The nearest bank is in Study Butte and the nearest pharmacy is in Alpine.
Amenities and Services
The lodge provides free WiFi, laundry facilities, and a gift shop. The gift shop sells souvenirs, t-shirts, snacks, ice, and water. A cold storage locker is available during hunting season. The lodge has an airstrip (Terlingua Ranch Airport 1E2). The front desk is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A barbecue grill is available for guest use. There are RV sites with hookups and camping grounds with water spigots. Potable water is available for sale.
