DESERT AIR MOTEL, Sanderson

The Desert Air Motel provides a mix of accommodations. Standard Single rooms feature one queen bed. Standard Double rooms come with two queen beds. Suites offer two queen beds or one queen and two twin beds. The Ocotillo Room includes a queen bed, a private patio, and a Cowboy Tub. All rooms have tiled floors, new linens, air conditioning, a television, a full bathroom, towels, complimentary Wi-Fi, antique furniture, a mini fridge, and a small microwave. Select rooms have a seating area and cable channels. The Hiking and Nature Trail is an easy walk up and around the hills. Day passes for the pool are available to the public for $15. Julio's Bar is available for those that want a drink and to shoot pool. A meteor shower, named after the constellation Perseus, occurs every year from about mid-July thru the end of August.

Big Bend National Park entrance is 1.5 hours away. Alpine is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. Langtry is 60 miles SE of Sanderson. The Terrell County Visitors Center provides information on Sanderson and the surrounding area.
