The resort also has one public grilling area for the Lodge Suites and one for the Cabins. Cabin A has a private grill. Basic pots, plate ware, and cooking utensils are provided in the guestrooms, however, can openers and wine openers are not.
Leisure
Canyon Lakeview Resort is located on Canyon Lake, which is available for year-round fishing. The resort has a regulation volleyball court and an outdoor swimming pool in a gated recreation area. There are also boulder-lined fire pits. Rock Beach is open year-round for relaxation but swimming is not allowed there. Boats, tubes, kayaks and paddle boards are allowed at the boat ramp. Guests can hike the Canyon Dam. The resort can host corporate retreats, family reunions, yoga retreats, and live music events.
Location
Canyon Lakeview Resort is located on Canyon Lake, 2 km from Canyon Lake and Cranes Mill Park. It is 3 km from Hancock Trail and Canyon Park. Comal Park and Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club are 4 km away. The drive from Downtown San Antonio leads through the Texas Hill Country. San Antonio International Airport is 60 km away.
“This lakeside resort emphasizes outdoor enjoyment, with a private beach and family-friendly activities. Cabins offer a rustic, engaging experience close to the water, though some amenities are minimal. I think its strength lies in its location and focus on providing natural experiences for all ages.”
